Leila was born in Southern California but later moved to Northern Nevada. She attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where she acquired her B.A. in Stage and Screen Acting. It was during her studies at UNLV that she was offered opportunities that would further her career: she attended the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Auditions in Los Angeles where she was offered a position working for Missoula Children’s Theater, a worldwide touring theater company, as a tour actor/director; then as a performer representing UNLV at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Adelaide, Australia. After Adelaide, Leila attended the M.F.A. Acting International program at the University of Essex, East 15 Acting School in London, England. While at East 15, she completed an educational residency at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London as well as participated in a month long intensive study at the Russian University of Theatre Arts in Moscow, Russia. After completing her Master’s degree, Leila headed back to the US. On her off time, she enjoys horseback riding, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu  and working on the ranch back home in the Sierra Nevada.
